Coverages For Your Pet

Pet Insurance Covers:

  • Clinical & Surgery: Consultations, diagnostic tests, treatments and surgical procedures that your pet may need due to various health conditions or emergencies.
  • Accidental Death & Injury: Covers costs associated with accidental injuries or even the loss of your pet due to an accident or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Chemotherapy Benefit: This benefit helps to cover the cost of chemotherapy treatments, which are usually on the pricier side to manage cancer for your pets.
  • Third Party Liability: This coverage protects you from legal and financial responsibility when your pet cause harm or injury to someone else or their property.

Pet Insurance Do Not Covers:

  • General Conditions: Conditions that are pre-existing, hereditary, congenital, related to the skin, or linked to breeding or pregnancy. Some insurance providers offer coverage for specific hereditary and congenital conditions
  • Routine Care & Preventive Treatments: Daily care and supplements, vitamins and preventative medications, vaccinations, training and behavioural therapy, grooming services, flea, tick, and worm control, as well as treatments for internal or external parasites.
  • Dental: Routine dental care and treatments for teeth and gums, excluding those related to accidents.
  • Age Related & Elective Procedures: Eye and ear changes due to age as well as procedures such as nail clipping, tail docking or neutering.

Eligibility for Pet Insurance

Your pet must meet the following requirements at the policy commencement date to qualify for the insurance:

  • At least 8 weeks and below 9 years old
  • Pet is residing with you in Singapore and you must be a Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident or a Foreigner with valid work period or employment pass
  • Must be microchipped and licensed
  • Have completed all required vaccinations
  • Not a working pet such as guide dog, racing pet etc
  • Pet is not used for breeding purposes

  • Treatment of panleukopenia, chlamydia, leukaemia (FeLV), feline immune deficiency virus (FIV) and feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, herpes virus and all forms of cat flu are excluded from coverage under the cat insurance.
